Leading Adult Entertainment Platform to Award $25,000 Scholarship to Deserving Student Applicant

New York, NY (September 1, 2015) – Pornhub, the premier online destination for adult entertainment, today announced the launch of “Pornhub Cares,” a philanthropic endeavor focused on furthering the charitable contributions of Pornhub as a whole. The company’s new altruistic enterprise is a brand new division created to act as an internal umbrella classifying Pornhub’s past, present, and future philanthropic initiatives. To commemorate the launch of Pornhub Cares, the site has opened up the application process for the first ever $25,000 Pornhub Cares Scholarship. The company will be accepting applications from students around the globe before selecting a deserving recipient. Submission for the scholarship will remain open through 12:00 AM (EST) on October 31, 2015, with the winner being chosen and announced shortly thereafter.
Entries for the Pornhub Cares Scholarship are open to all fields of study. Applicants are required to submit an essay between 1,000 and 1,500 words in length, answering the following question: “How do you strive to make others happy?” Submissions must also include a video clip between two and five minutes in length, further illustrating the entrant’s response, as well as a resume, and an official academic transcript. Selection of a winner will be conducted by an esteemed panel of Pornhub judges. Each entry will be assessed based on a number of criteria including inherent traits such as leadership and creativity, alongside more tangible accomplishments such as extracurricular activities and dedication to community service efforts.

Open to scholars from around the world, potential applicants for the Pornhub Cares Scholarship are required to have a GPA of 3.2 or higher, be currently enrolled full-time in an accredited post-secondary institution and be 18 years of age or older at the time of application. Limit one entry per day, per entrant; duplicate entries will be disqualified.
