This is, indeed, a professional film. Does anyone know the name of the comic actor playing the main character, the hallucinating fireman? The Folies Bergère put up a lot of money for Josephine Baker and the special effects, not to mention the sets and large supporting cast—I’m pretty sure their fireman is a pro. He’s certainly not your run of the mill male porn star, if such a thing existed at the time.
